Buying property in Paphos

Buying property in Paphos

In the south-west of the island there is an oldest city of the island Paphos. The town is full of green landscapes and omorfny (noting that "omorfiya" in Greek - beauty). Paphos is considered to be the most elite resort in Cyprus, where wealthy couples from Germany, England, Russia, Sweden and China choose to live here. However, for families with children this resort may not be the best choice. There is not enough of entertaining for children and youngsters.

Paphos is a small town that looks as if it was specially created for promenades

But you can easily rent a car here or take a bus. The infrastructure is developed well and transport runs here quite regularly. Historically the town is divided into two parts. One part is surrounded by orchards and parks while the other one by alleys and citrus groves. This is an agronomic heart of Cyprus. Right in the middle of the city you will find a real pine forest, which is a great shelter from the summer heat. A little morw distant from the center there is a beautiful Birds Park with hundreds of species of birds and exotic animals. At the city's waterfront there is a veritable museum of the seaside resort - Old Port Tower of the Middle Ages, the majestic lighthouse, a traditional market, plenty of authentic taverns and viewing platforms overlooking the raging sea and volcanic rock cliffs.

Paphos coastline is completely built up with hotels

However, the lack of a beach diversity not upset, since almost the entire coast is rocky and the waves are rarely calm. Therefore, many tourists prefer to relax by the pool. While local residents enjoy a beautiful sandy beach "Coral Bay" that is located a couple of kilometers away from the city, so there are not a lot of villas offered for sale or rent on the front line. Although, buying a property in Paphos with a private garden or with a swimming pool can be a great alternative to the seaside breeze.

Beautiful seaview from the windows of your villa We strongly recommend to consider the area of Polis that is in the north-west of Paphos. Right on the territory of the protected area of the Turtle Beach there are two beautiful villages - Argaka village and Latsi. These two locations are ideal for buying a cozy house or a luuxry villa with direct acces to the sea.

The previous capital of the island has a majestic atmosphere and a very interesting history which makes this town absolutely unique and attracts hundreds of people wishing to buy a property here. Paphos is probably the most luxurious and chic town out of all in Cyprus. The legend of the goddess of love Aphrodite who was engendered from the sea-foam strongly supports this idea. Not far away from the city of Paphos there is the temple of the god of wine and fertility Dionysus. It is worth mentioning that almost all the monuments of Paphos are on on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
