 Arakapas village is situated at the provinces of Limassol and at the distance of 25 km. It’s 30 minutes drive away from Limassol, 40 minutes from Larnaca, 50 minutes from Nicosia and 40 minutes from Troodos. The Virgin Mary of Iamatiki celebrates on 8th September and each year on this day there is a big fair for her. The duration of this festival is around 7 days and is the biggest trade fair that takes place in Cyprus. Except from the day of the fair, the Virgin Mary is visited every Sunday and holiday by pilgrims from all over Cyprus. Due to the large attendance of a large amount of visitors and number of foreign buyers which reside permanently at the village operate a coffee shop daily, and the well known KALAMARAS restaurant which works 7 days a week with purely traditional Cypriot cuisine. For the nature lovers there plenty of opportunities for walking and routes within green landscapes, fishing in technical water dams of the village, there also approved places to hung every Wednesday and Sunday from the 1st of November until 28 February each year, and so many other moments of joy, rest and relaxation that a man can live in a natural, friendly and traditional village in Cyprus.
