New high-rise in Limassol
The construction of the 197-meter Aura tower in Limassol
will be at the present site of the Debenhams Olympia shopping center on the seafront
road in Limassol. The construction should be completed by the end of 2022.
The cost of building Aura is estimated at 108 million euros, and the demolition of the existing building today will cost about 500,000 euros.
The 197-meter high Aura Tower will be the highest in Cyprus and will consist of 137 apartments with two to four bedrooms and a five-bedroom penthouse with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The building will be raised 23.9 meters from ground level, giving the impression that it floats high above the landscaped gardens below, which organically connect the beach and the park, creating an urban communal space accessible to all of Limassol.
The Ermes Group has announced that the Debenhams Olympia department store in Limassol is fully operational and will operate until 2020.
