Marina Agia Anapa will start operation soon
Ayia Napa Marina is at the final stage of construction and
is preparing to start work with the approach and berthing of the first boat on
January 27, which will mark the beginning of pilot work on the pier.
The Ayia Napa Marina flagship project is getting ready for operation, and major infrastructure work is nearing completion. This is a significant event for a landmark project that promotes the development and demonstration of the strength of Cypriot entrepreneurship, which, upon completion, will make a significant contribution to demonstrating the high tourist profile of Cyprus.
Administrative premises, buildings in which public services are located (port, police, customs, medical services, veterinary services), technical maintenance rooms, as well as a storage for boats, are ready, having received the necessary certificates from the Cyprus Electricity Authority. Shore work was also completed; most importantly, the breakwater, which acts as the main protective mechanism for the Marina, as well as residential and commercial areas.
The floating docks are also ready, their assembly is completed, as well as the bridge leading to the island villas, while the work related to the provision of boat services is rapidly moving forward. Road works continue on the western and northern sides of the development, with the vast majority completed and only the final asphalt pending. Work on a multi-level parking is 95% completed, elevator work and aluminum structures are underway.
In the commercial part of Ayia Napa Marina, work continues at a fast pace, including the completion of electromechanical installations, work with drywall and exterior stone cladding. Reconstruction work continues on the ground floor in the East Tower, along with foundation work in the West Tower.
The development and improvement of the surrounding area are also at an advanced stage. “At the pace with which work is ongoing, Ayia Napa Marina will soon become a reality for both residents and guests, promoting a modernized and modern lifestyle near the sea, combined with functionality, comfort and luxury. We are proud that construction work is ongoing at such a fast pace, as our vision becomes reality every day, ”said Stavros Karamondanis, General Director of M.M Makronisos Marina Ltd. “We are confident that this development will make a significant contribution to the revival of Ayia Napa, turning it into a pearl of the Eastern Mediterranean.”
The entry and berthing of the first boat on January 27 marked the beginning of pilot operations on the marina.
