The good news came from the Minister who announced that anyone under the age of 25 who is holding the Permanent Residence Permit (PRP) through the purchase of a property from his/her parents, can continue to be resident of Cyprus after the age of 25 without buying a property.
The main criteria for this are:
* Deposit at least 30,000 EUR into a Cypriot Bank for a 3-year period.
* Provide evidence that his/her annual income is at least 30,000 EUR (from any income sources located outside of Cyprus)
* Clean criminal record
This makes Cyprus Permanent Residence Permit to be the best choice for Non EU people and gives them a lot of personal and business benefits. Obtaining the permit makes much easier the access to Europe.
