Limassol seafront line will become even more beautiful

Mayor of Limassol, Mr Andreas Christou, announced that the city authorities are trying to get 5 million euros from the EU funds in the period 2014-2020 for the renovation of the city seafront line. Local municipality plans to use the funds for the renovation of frontline buildings, houses, shops and restaurants, as well as a 3.5 km section of the road from the Old Port to the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Planned changes dramatically improve the aesthetics of the waterfront and fix many existing illegal constructions. Reconstruction will also affect the stadium Tsirion, the entrance to the old port of Limassol, as well as a bicycle road.
