At the beginning of this year the number of tourists increased by 5,9% in comparison with the similar period of last year. The total of tourists arrived to the island in July, 2014 is 381955 whereas in July 2013 the number was 361442 that shows us a gain for 5,7%. Moreover, arrivals from Russia increased by 20.6%, from 96641 in July 2013 to 116582 this year.The number of tourists from Israel beats all indicators and makes the whole 63,5% (with 6307 in 2013 to 10311 in 2014). Also the small growth of number of tourists from Great Britain (by 4,1%), Sweden (4,3%), Norway (13,7%) and Greece (9,6%) .
In total from January to July, 2014 the number of the arrived tourists on the island increased by 5,9% and makes 1361794 in comparison with 1285577 for the same period.
