Cyprus and Lebanonbelieve that the discovery of hydrocarbons reserves in the Eastern Mediterraneancan encourage both countries to take steps toward stability and cooperation inthe region.
This Wednesday,Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Ioannis Kasoulides and Minister ofForeign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon Gebran Bassil held a meeting inNicosia, during which the Ministers decided to cooperate in the energy sector andstrengthen their relations in areas as search and rescue, liberalization offlights, tourism and in the field of defence.
