Ayia Napa Marina is at the final stage of construction andis preparing to start work with the approach and berthing of the first boat onJanuary 27, which will mark the beginning of pilot work on the pier.
The Ayia Napa Marina flagship project is getting ready foroperation, and major infrastructure work is nearing completion. This is asignificant event for a landmark project that promotes the development anddemonstration of the strength of Cypriot entrepreneurship, which, uponcompletion, will make a significant contribution to demonstrating the hightourist profile of Cyprus.
Administrative premises, buildings in which public servicesare located (port, police, customs, medical services, veterinary services),technical maintenance rooms, as well as a storage for boats, are ready, havingreceived the necessary certificates from the Cyprus Electricity Authority.Shore work was also completed; most importantly, the breakwater, which acts asthe main protective mechanism for the Marina, as well as residential andcommercial areas.
The floating docks are also ready, their assembly iscompleted, as well as the bridge leading to the island villas, while the workrelated to the provision of boat services is rapidly moving forward. Road workscontinue on the western and northern sides of the development, with the vastmajority completed and only the final asphalt pending. Work on a multi-levelparking is 95% completed, elevator work and aluminum structures are underway.
In the commercial part of Ayia Napa Marina, work continuesat a fast pace, including the completion of electromechanical installations,work with drywall and exterior stone cladding. Reconstruction work continues onthe ground floor in the East Tower, along with foundation work in the WestTower.
