The main media resources said that the Halliburton and Schlumberger, the world biggest oilfield services companies announced the opening their base in Cyprus for the operation in the eastern Mediterranean.
Companies will sign the agreements with the Cyprus government this month. Over 50 wells are going to be drilled by the corporations.
Notice, there are 1,5 billions of barrels in Cyprus gas field.
